OptiMusic is an interactive sound-light system that responds to interruptions of light beam refractions, triggering predefined multimedia responses such as music videos, stories, animal sounds and more, on a computer. This tool supports student development in multiple areas: • Motor Skills: Enhances grasping, coordination, crossing the midline, and motor planning. • Cognitive Skills: Improves attention, cause-and-effect understanding, hand-eye coordination, reaction time, and visual perception. • Social Skills: OptiMusic encourages exploration, decision-making, and communication practice. Lessons in the OptiMusic room are designed to be immersive and social, fostering engagement, motivation, and collaboration.
